Jula’s sharp warning to customers: “Be exploited”

Julas sharp warning to customers Be exploited

It was in January that Jula, on the company’s official Facebook page, warned of fraud.

“We want to warn our customers and followers of fraudulent attempts where unauthorized parties pretend to be Jula‼️ It has come to our attention that fraudsters are trying to trick users by running alleged contests on Facebook in our name,” they wrote in the post.

In the post, Jula further clarifies that they do not arrange any competitions on that particular Facebook profile and that they will never ask for sensitive information from customers in social media.

On Jula’s website they also warn of an SMS fraud where the company’s “name is used without authorization”.

“We have identified ongoing scenarios where customers, among other things, receive text messages that allegedly apply to an order to pick up from Jula,” they write there.

There you are also asked, if you suspect that you have received an SMS from the fraudsters, to forward it to Sweden’s telecom operators collection number 7726.

“Otherwise, we refer to the regulations that exist around fraud and how one as a victim of crime should handle it,” writes Eleonor Erikssoncommunicator at Jula’s press department, on to News24.
