Josephine Eriksson and her brother Daniel Eriksson work with fishing in northern Norway. When they were on a fishing trip in the Norwegian Söröya, Josephine got a real poop on the hook: a 242 centimeter long halibut.
– We are used to seeing big fish, but we have never seen such a big one, says Josephine.
According to the siblings, a fish of that size is caught once a year or every other year. But it is a world record for female fishermen. The record fish is six centimeters longer than the previous record.
Have you had a bleeding tooth?
– Yes indeed! Of course you want to catch one yourself now, says Daniel Eriksson.
Josephine jumped into the water to take pictures, and then released the fish.
