Josef Boumedienne is also employed as head scout for Columbus in the NHL.
According to the association, Boumedienne’s employment with the NHL club will not be affected by his assignment for Tre Kronor.

As a player, Boumedienne played in the NHL, KHL and Finnish SMliiga, among others.
The contract with Boumedienne extends through the 2025-2026 season.
