Liberal party leader Johan Pehrson continues to increase in the party leader survey.

In a new survey from Aftonbladet / Demoskop, confidence in the L-leader increases by 12 percentage points.

– He has been seen very much and people perceive him as popular, says Angelica Cöster analyst at Demoskop.

Confidence in the Liberals’ party leader Johan Pehrson is soaring.

In the latest survey from Aftonbladet / Demoskop, confidence in Johan Pehrson increases by 12 percentage points.

– Confidence in Johan Pehrson increases a lot in just one month, says Angelica Cöster.

It may also be that Pehrson has gained increased confidence among more groups of voters.

– He certainly increases from a very low level, but 29 percent of voters now have confidence in him. On the one hand, he has gained increased confidence among the sympathizers of the right-wing bloc, but also to some extent among C and MP voters. In addition, relatively few people lack confidence in him, says Angelica Cöster.

– He has taken on a clearer role, he has gone home and increased voter support.

At the same time, confidence in Magdalena Andersson decreases by five percentage points.

– Now she is actually back at the same levels as in May. She still has very high confidence figures, 52 percent of voters trust her, says Angelica Cöster.

Voters’ most important issues

The survey also shows that criminal policy has risen to become one of the hottest areas ahead of the election.

The question of law and order has, as the shootings in Sweden have become increasingly relevant.

And this is precisely the question that is also most popular among voters, according to Aftonbladet / Demoskop’s latest survey.

44 percent of those surveyed thought that law and order was the most important issue.

– There has been no major change in how important the public thinks this issue is compared to the previous month, but it is still the most important issue for voters, says Angelica Cöster.

Shortly afterwards, the issue of healthcare ended up where 34 percent of those surveyed considered it to be the most important issue.

The economy is important for voters

The issue of the Swedish defense, which was on the agenda in the spring in connection with the NATO discussion and the Ukraine war, is not as important for voters.

The question of the Swedish economy has also become important for voters.

– It is probably largely due to the fact that it is a more troubled time regarding the economy, higher interest rates and increased inflation, says Angelica Cöster.

– Compared with the previous month, 16 percent of the Swedish public now think that the economy is one of the three most important issues. This is an increase of four percentage points.
