Jeremy Renner reportedly prepared for the shoot in a disturbingly

Long before the Netflix series Dahmer – Monster: The Story of Jeffrey Dahmer became a hit and a controversy, Marvel star Jeremy Renner embodied the well-known serial killer in Dahmer. If you can believe his fellow actor Seth Rogen (Superbad), he went to extremes to get inside the criminal’s head. The film is available now on Amazon Prime Video*.

On Amazon Prime: Jeremy Renner is said to have used surgery images as an erotic template

On the podcast The Renner Files, Rogen explained:

[Vor dem Kinostart] revealed [Jeremy Renner]that he had masturbated to surgery manuals, to prepare for the role of Jeffrey Dahmer. I have never forgotten that. Why should I? [lacht].

As the creators of The Renner Files explain, the source is apparently an unspecified TV interview. The facts of the case cannot currently be independently verified.

Renner, who is currently recovering from an absolutely horrific accident, was still at the beginning of his career with Dahmer and was only to make his big breakthrough in 2009 with The Hurt Locker. But the serial killer film also celebrated critical success, not least due to Renner’s performance.
