Jabil: “no” from the unions to the relocation plan

Jabil no from the unions to the relocation plan

(Ticker) – “Immediate blocking of layoffs and the creation of a control room coordinated by the Prefecture thanks to which to allow an effective involvement of the institutions starting with the Campania Region to deal with the Jabil dispute”. To say it, in a joint note, the general secretary of the CGIL Sonia Oliviero and the general secretary of the Fiom Cgil Caserta Francesco Percuoco at the end of the garrison that took place this morning in front of the Prefecture of Caserta.

“The relocation plan presented by Jabil is inadmissible – highlighted the two exponents of the CGIL – because it does not guarantee workers certainties and, regardless, it does not involve all 190 employees who will be fired on January 31st. The workers should be hired by a company created by Tme and Invitalia which, at the moment, does not even have a plant with the risk of repeating situations of non-payment of salaries already experienced with the experiences of Softlab and Orefice. In addition, this phantom plan – they concluded – would only be aimed at 140 of the 190 employees involved in the dismissal procedures”.

Meanwhile next January 24th a summit is scheduled at the MISE during which the Jabil issue will be addressed.
