In Woerden, Utrecht, De Meern, Maartensdijk, Doorn Nieuwegein, Houten and De Bilt, among others, volunteers will take to the streets today to collect cigarette butts from the street. The joint collection is an action of the so-called Plastic Butts Collective, which also calls for an international ban on plastic cigarette filters.
