Telegram’s competitor, the popular messaging application WhatsApp, has recently been on the agenda with new features. The platform recently made noise with the pause/resume feature while recording a voice note. Now it turns out that a new feature is on the way.
HERE IS THE NEW FEATURE OF WHATSAPP
According to the discovery by WABetainfo, WhatsApp is working on a poll feature that will allow users to poll within WhatsApp groups. In a shared screenshot, WhatsApp’s poll feature looks like this;
In this image, we encounter a survey question creation screen. In the next step, the user will probably add options where group members can vote and complete the survey.
UNDER DEVELOPMENT
WhatsApp’s poll feature is still under development. That’s why it’s not available in stable versions of WhatsApp yet. On the other hand, it is stated that the surveys can only be used in WhatsApp groups and will be end-to-end encrypted.
It is stated that Telegram has allowed its users to create surveys since 2018.
