Israels military actions in Gaza put Joe Bidens re election at

The president threatens to lose the votes of the Muslims in the states of Libra, which are critical for winning the election.

Israel’s re-intensification of military operations in the Gaza Strip threatens to take away from the US president From Joe Biden voters who are important to his re-election.

American Muslims and Arabs are deeply disappointed by the Biden administration’s solid support for Israel in a situation where the number of civilian casualties in Gaza is increasing day by day. Over the weekend, the representatives of Muslim organizations from several states in the Libra state jointly demanded the rejection of Biden in next year’s presidential election.

The leaders of the Abandon Biden campaign gathered for a joint event in Dearborn, Michigan, which is the most Arab-dominated city in the United States.

– We are trying to coordinate the campaign in such a way that […] Biden would lose in every single state on the scale, says a professor at the University of Minnesota working in the campaign Hassan Abdel Salam For Politico.

There are just under 3.5 million Muslims in the United States, or a good percent of the population. A collapse in support even in a small part of the electorate could still result in Biden losing swing states and thus the re-election.

In the previous elections, Biden enjoyed the clear support of the majority of the American Arab population, but in a recent poll, the support has collapsed to 17 percent.

For example, in Michigan, Wisconsin and Arizona, Biden won in 2020 with a narrow share of the vote. Losing Muslim and Arab votes in these states could well lead to losing the entire state in the 2024 elections.

Can play into Trump’s bag

The organizers of the Abandon Biden campaign emphasize that they are not supporting the likely Republican candidate either Donald Trump, but would like to find a third option. However, they admit that the campaign could lead to a Trump victory.

– Our decision may cause things to be even worse for the next four years. However, the Democrats are allowed to think about whether they want our vote or not, says the campaign activist Jaylani Hussain news site for Axios.

Biden’s campaign team has not commented on the matter to the US media.

However, the administration has shown signs over the weekend that its patience with Israel is waning. Vice president Terrible Harris and the Minister of Defense Lloyd Austin insisted on protecting the civilian casualties in Gaza, adding, however, that Israel has the right to defend itself against the terrorist organization Hamas.
