Israel has carried out over 3,400 attacks on targets in Lebanon since the war in Gaza began last October, most of them against the Lebanese Hezbollah militia. This is what the Israeli army’s IDF spokesperson Daniel Hagari says at a press conference.
Over 200 Hezbollah members are said to have been killed in the attacks, he says according to the AFP news agency. Hagari further states that the IDF has struck Hezbollah targets in Syria 50 times since the start of the war.
– We are working to stop Hezbollah’s supply of ammunition from Iran. Wherever Hezbollah is, we will act, regardless of where in the Middle East, Hagari agreed to the Jerusalem Post.
