IS video allegedly shows terrorist attack in Moscow

Russia has today announced a national day of mourning to honor the victims of yesterday’s bloody terrorist attack in Moscow, when at least 133 people lost their lives. It is the deadliest attack in the country in almost 20 years.

How this tragedy could occur is still unclear. But last night the terrorist group IS, which has claimed responsibility for the crime, released a video of the attackers themselves that may provide clues.

The video shows the men in the concert hall

The video shows armed men strategically moving forward inside the venue shouting Islamist slogans. The images have since been published by social media accounts that IS traditionally controls.

Inside what was once a concert hall, the emergency services are still working to clean up after this massacre, which has now become a new toxic factor in the conflict between Russia and the West.

Because despite the lack of both clues and facts, yesterday President Vladimir Putin tried to insinuate that Ukraine would be involved. This is rejected by Ukraine.

– We are not only facing a cynically planned terrorist attack, but a prepared mass murder of defenseless people, says Putin in a statement.

Terror researcher’s words about IS

It is the Afghan branch within IS that has taken responsibility for the deed, and terror researcher Hans Brun believes that there are many indications of this.

– We have seen that the propaganda channel that IS usually uses, Amak, has published several messages that are well in line with previous attacks in which IS was involved, he says.

Although most things indicate that IS is behind the massacre in Moscow, several questions remain. For example, why the Russian police took so long to move in and the lack of security at the arena.
