Is Fast & Furious 10 the final part? Almost 11 is definitely coming and even after that, Vin Diesel wants to keep going

Is Fast Furious 10 the final part Almost 11

A world without Fast and Furious is possible, but pointless. The tenth part of the action series started on Wednesday. However, Fast X is far from being the last film with Vin Diesel as Dom Toretto.

What’s next? There are currently two future versions of Fast and Furious. We present both plus a bonus option.

Possibility 1: Fast and Furious 11 will be the definitive conclusion of the franchise

When will Fast & Furious 11 start? The current date is 2024. However, it is questionable whether the start can be met. In 2020, fast-godfather Vin Diesel announced his original plan: to end the Tuner saga with an Avengers-style two-part finale. First Fast 10 would appear and shortly thereafter Fast & Furious 11 as a direct, seamless successor that closes the series. In the meantime it was said that Fast 10 and 11 would be shot one after the other. That’s not the case. In April, Louis Leterrier was also confirmed as the director of Part 11.

Officially there is 11-movie schedule but still, which would mean: After Fast 10 there is only one more part. But …

Possibility 2: Fast and Furious 11 and (!) 12 are on the way

At the world premiere of Fast and Furious 10, Diesel dropped a small bombshell: When he started shooting the film, the Universal studio asked if he could imagine a two-parter. But: “When the studio saw this film, they said, ‘Can you make a trilogy out of the finale?'” Of course Vin Diesel could.

That would mean: Fast and Furious 12 is also coming. However, the star did not want to confirm this. He’ll be in trouble, he said.

Option 3 (Bonus): Vin Diesel won’t stop making Fast and Furious movies until the world ends

It’s hard to imagine Fast and Furious ending with Vin Diesel breathing. The stars are too closely linked to the franchise. Even the weaker parts are going too well in the cinemas. Soberly speaking, there’s no reason to bury Fast and Furious. Except: everything has to end at some point. But someday, that’s a long way off. Should Vin Diesel out of the blue on any red carpet in 6 years Fast and Furious 13 announce, that would certainly not surprise anyone.

What is Fast and Furious 10 about?

Dom Toretto (Vin Diesel) and his crew have run away from danger in their cars in the past. But now an enemy emerges from the shadows of the past who is out for bloody revenge: he wants to destroy the “family” and destroy everything that is dear to Dom.

What the car artists in Fast & Furious Five didn’t know: The Brazilian drug lord Hernan Reyes, who they eliminated and whose empire they destroyed, had a son who saw everything: Dante (Jason Momoa). And he’s been working on a master plan for the past twelve years to get back at Dom for what they did to him. This retaliatory strike spreads its motorized enemies across the globe: from Los Angeles, to Rome and London, to Brazil, Portugal and Antarctica.

Fast and Furious 10 has been in German cinemas since May 17th.
