Ironing tip – August 20 (20/8): Tips, suggestions & analysis

Last minute The world stood up after Putins decision in

New Saturday, new ironing tip! Here you will find our Ironing Tips analysis for August 20! All 13 matches are from England.

Many are happy that the European football leagues are finally back up and running, and the league that most people follow with joy is the Premier League. Even the Championship and lower English divisions have won many hearts. Of course, all this has a lot to do with the Ironing Tip!

As usual, we give you our Ironing Tips analysis. All 13 matches have been analyzed, and we have landed on a tip. We choose to play a 96-row system, which means seven spikes, five half-guards and one full-guard.

Two rounds have passed of the Premier League so far, and it is now that you start to get a reasonable picture of where the teams stand. Manchester United so far do not look an inch better than last year, while Manchester City are steaming along as usual. The newcomers have looked exciting, but that is often the case at the beginning of seasons.

If you want to bet on just one or a couple of the matches, we recommend Bet365. They often offer very good odds on football from England. You can also choose to look for a site with free and risk-free bets.

1. Bournemouth – Arsenal

Arsenal have looked very good at the start of the season, and the signing of Gabriel Jesús looks to be a real hit. Bournemouth didn’t have a chance against Manchester City, and will have a hard time here as well. We believe in another Arsenal victory, and feel comfortable with single 2nd.

2. Crystal Palace – Aston Villa

Crystal Palace have had a tough schedule so far, facing Liverpool and Arsenal. 1 point in these matches must absolutely count as passed. Now they face a more welcome opposition in the form of Aston Villa, which is not a bad team for that. Villa hope to fight for European places this spring.

Crystal Palace are hard to beat, but we don’t think they can beat a stronger Villa. X2 is crossed out.

3. Everton – Nottingham

Presumed bottom team Everton host newcomers Nottingham Forest, who are also expected to stay in the lower regions. Forest won against West Ham, but away from home they are not nearly as strong. At the same time, Everton, despite being on zero points, have looked quite good in terms of play. We think the home team will win this match, and singles 1.

4. Fulham – Brentford

The Danish build Brentford looks rudely good. The team is most recently coming off a 4-0 win against Manchester United, and seems to have quickly established itself in the Premier League. Here they face newcomers Fulham, who have not lost against them in seven meetings. We believe in another victory for Pontus Jansson’s men, and here we nail the 2nd.

5. Leicester – Southampton

Leicester is on paper a stronger team than Southampton, but they are uneven. It’s hard to know where you have the team, and it often feels like it could go either way when they’re on the move.

Southampton picked up 0-2 to 2-2 against Leeds last time out, and will never be counted out. But the skill is not that high in comparison. We want to get the 2nd and the big chance, at the same time we absolutely cannot count Leicester out. We play the “fork”, 12.

6. Burnley – Blackpool

Lancashire Derby. Learn to be a tough fight, and at the beginning of the season when you don’t have much to go on around the team, a cross feels very close at hand. However, Burnley is clearly a stronger team on paper, and the most likely thing is that they will win here after all. We choose to play 1X, where the X can give us the bigger money.

7. Coventry – Huddersfield (Lotta’s 50-27-23)

This match will be drawn, so there is not much to say about it. Right now the line distribution is 49-29-22, which means that the value is on the 1st and 2nd. We choose to take a chance with a 1 here, and hope that our 50 percent chance of being right will be enough.

8. Preston – Watford

Preston are the odds favorites in this match, but it is Watford who have become the favorites of the Swedish people. This is probably because the club name sounds louder and because they got a reasonably better start to the season. However, one should not underestimate the odds’ reflection of reality – those who set the odds usually know best. We see a value in the home victory, and singles 1.

9. QPR – Rotherham

QPR suffer when they are missing important Chris Willock, which was evident against Blackpool last time. He seems to be missing here as well, which is a big break for the team. We think Rotherham have a good chance of points here, and choose to play X2.

10. Reading – Middlesbrough

Middlesbrough have won xG (expected goals) in every single match so far, but still haven’t taken a three-pointer. In the end it evens out, and you are seen as a stronger team than Reading. We keep Middlesbrough as clear favourites, and see good value in the straight 2 which is only marked at 39 percent.

11. Stoke – Sunderland

Can Sunderland do it on a cold, rainy day at Stoke? We think so. Stoke look very weak, while Sunderland were unlucky with a red card last time out. If they can keep eleven men on the pitch, we strongly believe in Sunderland. Here we play X2.

12. Sheffield United – Blackburn

Anel Ahmedhodzic led Sheffield United to victory last time out, with the Swedish centre-back providing both goals and assists. Elsewhere, at the same time, Blackburn lost 0-3, and it does not look good for the team. Here we think Sheffield will win, and we’ll leave the 1 alone. Nail.

13. West Brom – Hull

West Brom is actually a better team than Hull, but you can’t make it right. Despite creating plenty of scoring chances going forward, they have not won a single match so far. For Hull, on the other hand, it’s a goal post. It’s hard to know how the team’s coincidences will affect this match, and we choose to stay safe and keep our fingers crossed for away scraps!
