Iran has launched dozens of drones towards Israel late on Saturday, says Israel.
– Iran launched unmanned aerial vehicles from its territory towards the territory of the State of Israel, said the spokesperson of the Israeli army Daniel Hagari in his televised speech.
Dozens of drones have been seen flying from the direction of Iran in the province of Sulaimaniyya in Iraq, security sources told the news agency Reuters.
Hagari said that the airplane journey to Israel is believed to take hours.
Iran has previously said it would retaliate for an attack on the Iranian consulate in Damascus, Syria, earlier this month.
President of the United States Joe Biden is scheduled to discuss the situation in the Middle East with the country’s security authorities on Saturday afternoon local time.
