Information sought in Chatham break-in

Assault charge in Dresden

Sometime on Thursday evening, someone entered an apartment on King Street in Chatham.

Stolen was a bicycle valued at $200, Chatham-Kent police said.

Failing to comply

On Jan. 24, a woman was released from court with several conditions, including that she not communicate with, nor attend any place where a Chatham man was known to be.

On Friday afternoon, police responded to a call at a residence in Wallaceburg. Police reportedly located the woman with the man.

The 20-year-old Wallaceburg woman was arrested and charged with four counts of failing to comply. She has been held in custody pending a bail hearing

Warrant arrests

Police attended a Wallaceburg residence Friday evening and entered with a warrant.

A 52-year-old Wallaceburg man was arrested and held for bail.

In a separate incident Friday evening, police located a man in Blenheim who was known to be wanted. The 49-year-old Blenheim man was arrested and released with a court date.
