In northern Gaza, the Israeli army is literally forcing people to leave their homes, to leave their shelters. Men receive a number, women pass… Families are separated from each other.
The residents are fleeing, on foot, with what they can, not knowing if they will ever see their homes or even northern Gaza again. Like Shireen al-Hijri, a displaced person from Beit Lahia. All describe horror and dehumanization.
“ The soldiers arrested the young boys, and we had to move forward. We don’t know what happened to them “, she explains. “ We continued on our way, but the tanks passed by, covering us with dust, and the soldiers humiliated us by asking us where Sinwar was, where Haniyeh was. Honestly, we don’t know what will become of our children… they were arrested. »
