If you miss the huge battles from MMORPGs, you should check out a new game on Steam: It looks massive

Anvil Empires is an upcoming MMORPG on Steam developed by SiegeCamp. You have the chance to play the game now. MeinMMO tells you what awaits you in this game.

With the success of Foxhole on Steam, the development studio SiegeCamp has already proven that they know how to create an exciting gaming experience.

The shooter places players in a fictional world that is characterized by the outbreak of a war based on the Second World War. You take on the role of a soldier and become part of a large army that fights in epic battles.

Anvil Empires is based on Foxhole, but the game is not a shooter, but a massive war MMORPG that takes place in the Middle Ages and also features large battles. You can make it to pre-alpha and start playing the game.

We’ll tell you how you can register for the pre-alpha and what awaits you in this game.

  • Anvil Empires: Where urban development meets war preparation and massive battles

What kind of game is this? A unique mix of urban development and strategic warfare awaits you in the world of Anvil Empires. This MMORPG allows players to build their own settlement and turn it into a thriving city over time. This concept is strongly reminiscent of the strategy classic Age of Empires.

Here your task is to expand the infrastructure of your settlement, construct buildings and cleverly use the surrounding resources to promote the growth of your city. The needs of the population must be taken into account. You can farm, hunt, raise animals and much more.

You can also trade with neighboring settlements from other players to further strengthen your economy. And you can build complex, massive fortresses that can withstand long sieges.

Anvil Empires is not just about idyllic city building. The sound of war drums is omnipresent, and you must always be prepared to turn your city into a fortress when the battles begin. PvP battles are possible for up to 1,000 players to take part at the same time.

It is not only military strength that determines the outcome of battles, but also the ability to maintain a stable economy and supply chain.

    What else the game offers:

  • You can travel on horses or cross the seas on ships.
  • Together with other players, you run your economy and supply warehouses and build logistics chains together.
  • On your travels you have the opportunity to plunder villages.
  • Players are excited

How do players react to Anvil Empires? Players are excited and are sharing their excitement for the game on Reddit.

Psittacula2 writes: In my opinion this looks like one of the best MMOs in ages. […] It’s amazing that there is actually a good chance of a successful MMO – obviously mainly for PvP players in the open world MMO design.

Combocore sums it up in a nutshell: This looks damn cool.

virusoiul emphasizes on YouTube: Cool game, hopefully it will be as good as Foxhole.

When is Anvil Empires released? An exact release date for this MMORPG is currently pending. Since the pre-alpha is in full swing, it could take a while until the full version of the game is available.
