IEG, “Solar” result for the first edition of SEC

IEG Solar result for the first edition of SEC

(Finance) – Three days of technological showcase on one of the most central sectors for the energy transition and, therefore, for the global economy, at a time when international tensions over energy supplies are under everyone’s eyes: the first edition of SEC – Solar Exhibition and Conference by Key Energy, “vertical” event on solar and photovoltaic Italian Exhibition Group.

At the fair, results beyond expectations for sector operators, who have developed a real matching of meetings with profiled operators as well as a intrabusiness and exchange of know-how, among the latest generation panels, components and charging wallboxes for electric vehicles. Unanimously recognized IEG’s ability to perform the role of community catalyst for all the supply chains involved and to be able to bring out the peculiarities of each sector, with a profile that will be extended to the entire Mediterranean basin.

The conferences and workshops organized under the supervision of the scientific board of Key Energy directed by the professor were appreciated and participated Gianni Silvestrini, real networking accelerators: from energy communities for industry and small municipalities, to agriculture that combines arable land and energy supply, passing through the great theme of permitting and PPA to e-mobility, and the opportunities that the African market represents for Italian companies. All this, thanks also to the participation of ANCI Emilia-Romagna, ANIE Energia, ANIE Rinnovabili, most beautiful villages in Italy, Confagricoltura, Free Coordination, Future Electricity, ENEA, ETA Florence Energie Rinnovabili, FIRE, IBESA, ITALIA SOLARE, Kyoto Club , Legambiente, Motus-E, Res4Africa, Solar Power Europe.

At the same time the ForumTech of ITALY SOLAR, (which addressed extremely topical issues, ranging from modules, inverters, accumulations and balance of systems up to green hydrogen) thus offering a single space for comparison both to the entire community of demand, which ranged from energy-intensive companies to small municipalities , both energy suppliers and trade associations. A real marketplace to intervene on the electricity bill and speed up independence from the import of natural gas.

SEC therefore reaffirmed how opportune it is to dedicate to solar energy, in this particular juncture, an event in the context of the European policy of decarbonization, oriented towards policies for containing the cost of energy. In fact, among renewable sources, solar energy appears to be one of the most easily accessible, capable of compensating – with the right mix of resources – for any reduction in dependence on gas.
