IEG improves 2022 guidance on revenues and margins

IEG new plan approved return to normality after Covid from

(Tiper Stock Exchange) – Italian Exhibition Group (IEG) closed the first 9 months of the year with Revenue which amount to 106.1 million euros, an increase of 63.6 million compared to the same period of 2021, in which the restrictions induced by the Covid-19 pandemic had suspended various demonstrations and events.

EBITDA reached 4.6 million euros, an increase of 7.1 million euros compared to the same period of the previous year when the Group recorded a negative gross operating margin of 2.4 million euros. Adjusted Ebitda amounted to 6.9 million euro compared to the figure of -12.1 million euro referred to 30 September 2021.

L’EBIT negative closed at -8.4 million euro, an improvement of 8.3 million compared to the result recorded in the same period of the previous year.

The Result before the taxes is -8 million euros, an improvement of 10.7 million compared to 30 September 2021. The Group’s result for the period reports a loss of 8.9 million euros, recovering from the loss of 19.1 million of the same period 2021.

There Net Financial Position as at 30 September 2022 it stood at 108.1 million euros.

Outlook
The result achieved in the first nine months as well as the preliminary results of the events already carried out in the fourth quarter of the year, “allow us to confirm for the current year the full achievement of the strategic objectives, with revenue growth forecasts above targetsmaintaining for the 2022 financial year an operating margin substantially in line with the forecasts of the Business Plan, despite the uncertainties of the macroeconomic and socio-political context”, explains the company in the note to the accounts.
