Ice hockey: Leksand tied the match series against Frölunda – Filip Larsson nailed it back again

A packed Tegera Arena erupted in goal cheers when Lindholm found his way behind Frölunda’s goalkeeper at the end of the second period. Leksand stood on the podium – and was able to extend the lead to 2-0 in an open cage through Kalle Östman.

The hero of the match for Leksand was the goalkeeper Filip Larsson, who nailed it again and saved all 23 shots.

Back star Anton Lindholm also impressed and, for the sake of the unusual, had to put a puck there. During the regular season, there were only three goals in 39 games.

– Always fun to be part of that end as well. But I usually evaluate my own performance based on how I play without the puck, or with the puck in my own end. It is not the goal in itself that makes me satisfied with my performance, he tells SVT Sport.

“Unless the wife says something…”

The quarter-final series between Leksand and Frölunda is the only one still alive as the other three have already been decided.

Quarter-final 5:7 between Frölunda and Leksand will be played on Sunday in Scandinavium, Gothenburg.

The increased pressure and all the writing about the playoffs has not affected Anton Lindholm.

– If I’m being completely honest, there are no problems. I stay far away from all the mass media that exists. If the wife doesn’t say something, I don’t hear it, he says with a smile.
