IONIQ 5 N was selected as the “World Performance Car of the Year” within the scope of World Car Of The Year (WCOTY), which is considered to be one of the most respected automotive awards globally, thus making this important “Car of the Year” award that Hyundai received for two consecutive years with IONIQ 5 and IONIQ 6. It crowns the “Automobile” series with a third victory. This first place, which means Hyundai’s fourth major “World Automobile Awards” victory in the last three years, is considered as proof of how assertive both the models and the brand are. IONIQ 5 N, which continues to surpass its EV competitors with its extraordinary high-performance technology, strengthens its leading and privileged position in its segment. The World Automobile Awards (WCOTY) are held regularly every year with the votes of 100 international jury members from 29 countries.

IONIQ 5 N has two electric motors that work up to 21,000 cycles. Equipped with the latest generation 84 kWh battery, the car offers 448 kW/609 PS and 740 Nm of torque (478 kW/650 PS and 770 Nm when NGB is active) thanks to the two-stage inverter in the engine for high energy. The model, which can reach a maximum speed of 260 km/h, accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.5 seconds (3.4 seconds with NGB). The range of the fully electric vehicle is 448 kilometers (WLTP).”
