The women’s Superpesis season culminates on Saturday, when Tampere’s Manse PP and Pori’s Pesäkarhut take on each other in the decisive fifth final game.
The interest in the match has been huge: 2,780 spectators are arriving at the Kaup baseball stadium. Manse PP acquired additional seats for the match, which were also quickly sold out.
Many who wanted to were still left without a ticket, which is why special arrangements have been put in place. Baseball fans can go to the Tampere arena to watch the match, where the match is shown on a screen.
Entrance to the arena is free. The match starts at 2 p.m.
Manse PP managed to extend the season’s resolution on Sunday, when it claimed a 2–1 (0–1, 6–1, 5–4) victory over Pori after exciting stages.
