Located in the Regional Natural Park of Armorique, Huelgoat is an exceptional and magical national forest associated with many Celtic legends. Famous for its fascinating Chaos of rocks that runs along the Rivière d’Argent, this pile of rounded blocks in a chaotic arrangement is, according to legend, the domain of the fairies of Huelgoat. Planted with beeches and oaks, Huelgoat once supplied its remarkable species to the shipyards of Brest.
