Huddinge residents in protest against the shuttle service

When the new autumn timetable is now presented with a reduced number of departures, many travelers have become upset. In a newly started local Facebook group, around 500 people have so far gathered to share their opinions about, among other things, the new table and how they feel that MTR and SL are mismanaging the traffic.

– It is scandal and chaos. They make decisions that we don’t stand behind, says Peter Solstedt, who helped start the group.

Isn’t there a risk that this will just become a group where people gather and pour out their criticism?

– There is a risk with everything you do, but it is better to do something than nothing at all.

Huddinge politicians critical

In addition to upset travelers, a number of local politicians from the various parties in Huddinge have also reacted to the shuttle traffic.

“The commuter train is absolutely crucial for life in Huddinge to function. It is completely unacceptable with so many disturbances and with such a low frequency of trips as it is right now,” writes Sara Heelge Vikmång (S), chairman of the municipal board in Huddinge, on her Facebook page. Even the Moderates in Huddinge write in an open letter to the regional politicians that they demand that “the commuter train chaos must come to an end”.
