Hit-and-run driver recognized and arrested

Six Nations police raid house of community concern

A driver who crashed head-on into another vehicle on Tuesday is now facing charges of dangerous driving and failing to stop at an accident.

Six Nations Police say a 29-year-old man was arrested after his victim was able to identify him.

The collision took place on First Line Road, east of Cayuga Road and, when police arrived at the call they found a vehicle left with heavy damage to the front end. The victim said the suspect made no attempt to remain at the scene or check if those struck were alright.

The arrested man was seen in court and released on a recognizance for another date.
