Lauri Vuorinen about his fourth place: “It starts to taste good little by little”

So for Lauri Vuoris, the best World Cup ranking of his career, fourth place and the first sprint final place in traditional skiing.

– Now it’s slowly starting to taste good. On the final straight and at the finish line, it was a bit annoying. I wasn’t satisfied, but now that I think about it, it was a great day and a success. I am quite satisfied, Vuorinen described on Viaplay.

Vuorinen still described after qualifying that he felt bad.

– The best sensitivity is a bit lost. Still, this felt good in a way. The ending was pretty good. If the last landing had been better, fourth place could have been just up for grabs. Before, there were three pretty tough guys, Vuorinen said.

Vuorinen liked the Canmore sprint track.

– There is a work clip to start. The body gets a little tired and then the long final straight. The final stroke is my strength, Vuorinen stated.
