Hiding a loaded gun in a toilet in Västerås – several young men are sentenced to prison

It was in March that the police found a loaded gun in an apartment in Råby during a house search. The weapon was hidden along with drugs in the ceiling of the toilet. An 18-year-old man is now sentenced to two years and four months in prison and compensation for serious weapons offenses and drug offences.

The 18-year-old allegedly committed the crime together with a 20-year-old man. The 20-ring is also sentenced to two years and nine months in prison as well as damages. The 20-year-old is also convicted of several other crimes, including attempted extortion.

Threatening letters

This happened at the end of November 2022, where two people received letters and several calls asking them to hand over SEK 200,000. The crime is said to have been carried out together with a 21-year-old man. The 21-year-old is also convicted of drug offenses and received a penalty of one year and eight months in prison as well as damages.

Two other people were also convicted during the trial of drug offences. These to fines and suspended sentences.
