Leeds United have had a turbulent season in the Premier League. The club has not got it right both on and off the field, and had the knife to the throat during the last league round.
Solved new contract
Before the last match, Leeds were relegated and had to rely on other results first and foremost. Newcastle were to beat bottom rival Burnley, while Leeds took at least one stick away against Brentford.
Everything eventually went Leeds’ way. Newcastle beat Burnley, and Leeds won against Brentford after a late decision. This means that the club stays in the Premier League, and Burnley goes down to the Championship.
One of the big reasons why Leeds stays this season is the brass Raphinha, who won the internal shooting league with eleven cones.
Went on his bare knees
And after the win against Brentford, it was Raphinha who would end up in the center. After the final whistle, the offensive midfielder stood for the most unexpected celebration as he went down on his bare knees and went all over the pitch.
