Right now, Sweden and 15 other countries are conducting the military exercise Baltops. This year, the exercise is taking place in the central and southern Baltic Sea and on shore-based land exercise areas in Germany, Sweden, Poland and the Baltic states. On Saturday, TV4 Nyheterna visited Baltops when they practiced on Korsö near Sandhamn in the Stockholm archipelago. About 40 ships, about 70 aircraft and a total of about 7,000 people will take part in this year’s exercise, which mainly focuses on violent landings.
