BBC announcer Huw Edwards conveyed the description of Buckingham Palace on live broadcast.
In a statement from Buckingham Palace, Queen II. Elizabeth was reported to have died and said, “The Queen died peacefully in Balmoral this afternoon. The King and his wife, the Queen, will stay in Balmoral tonight and return to London tomorrow.”
