Helldivers 2 01.000.300 patch has been released. All notes of the update that brings many adjustments.

Helldivers 2 01.000.300 Patch Update Notes

For this patch, we’ve made improvements and changes to the following areas:

  • Balance changes to weapons, strategies and enemies
  • Change in mission to Spread Democracy

General

  • Armor with an armor rating above 100 now also reduces damage from headshots.
  • Victory poses will now only play for those that were removed. (There are no stolen dares on my ship.)
  • Burn damage reduced by 15%

Primary, Secondary and Support Weapons CB-9 Exploding Crossbow

  • Slightly smaller explosion
  • Increased staging
  • Maximum magazine count reduced from 12 to 8
  • Number of magazines received from resupply increased from 6 to 8
  • Slight decrease in ergonomics
  • Muzzle velocity increased

LAS-99 Quasar Cannon

  • Recharge time increased by 5 seconds

BR-14 Adjudicator

  • Full auto is now the default fire mode
  • Reduced recoil
  • Maximum magazine count increased from 6 to 8
  • Number of magazines received from resupply increased from 6 to 8
  • Now placed among assault rifles

LAS-98 Laser Cannon

  • A little more damage
  • Slightly less damage against bulky bodies

SG-8P Punisher Plasma

  • Maximum magazine count reduced from 12 to 8
  • Increased the amount of magazines received from resupply from 6 to 8
  • Projectile velocity increased, but will still maintain a similar range
  • Explosion damage reduction reduced
  • Now placed in the energy weapons category

ARC-12 Blitzer

  • Number of shots per minute increased from 30 to 45
  • Now placed in the energy weapons category

R-36 Eruptor

  • Maximum magazine count reduced from 12 to 6
  • Explosion damage drops slightly faster

LAS-16 Sickle

  • Number of magazines reduced from 6 to 3

LAS-5 Scythe

  • Damage increased from 300 to 350
  • Maximum magazine count reduced from 6 to 4

RS-422 Railgun

  • Increased armor penetration in both safe mode and non-safe mode
  • Step strength slightly reduced

MG-101 Heavy Machine Gun

  • Third-person reticle enabled

63CS Diligence Counter Sniper

  • Damage increased from 128 to 140
  • Ergonomics improved

R-63 Diligence

  • Damage increased from 112 to 125

P-19 Redeemer

  • Slight increase in recoil

P-2 Peacemaker

  • Damage increased from 60 to 75

P-8 Senator

  • Damage increased from 150 to 175
  • Quickloader added when reloading to an empty cylinder – significantly speeds up reloading when empty

LAS-7 Dagger

  • Damage increased from 150 to 200

AR-19 Liberator

  • Damage increased from 55 to 60

AR-23C Rescue Shocker

  • Damage increased from 55 to 65

JAR-5 Dominator

  • Damage reduced from 300 to 275

AX/AR-23 Guard Dog

RL-77 Air Burst Rocket Launcher

  • Air Burst Rocket Launcher will no longer explode when shot near stratagems (HMG turret, Sentries, Supply) and other Hell Divers
  • Reduced proximity radius

Stratagems A/MG-43 Machine Gun

  • Increased health to match other Sentinels

A/ARC-3 Tesla Tower

  • 33% increase in health

FAF-14 Spear

  • Added reload phase reload after expended missile is fired

RL-77 Air Burst Rocket Launcher

  • Movement speed of Bile Ejector and Lactation Ejector slightly decreased
  • Hulks: Slightly increased stagger strength
  • Hulk Scorcher direct flamethrower damage reduced by 20%
  • Devastator fire rate slightly increased (standard devastator only)
  • Sideways movement of battleships slightly increased
  • Scout strider riders are now less vulnerable to explosions
  • Increased health and armor of Mist Generators
  • Battleship spawners now have a much lower limit on how many battleships they can activate at once

Enemy Patrols

  • Increased the spawning of patrols when there are less than 4 players. The smaller the number of players, the greater the change. There will be no changes to 4-player missions compared to before, with the biggest noticeable change being for solo players on higher difficulties

Gameplay

  • We’ve made minor leveling improvements to how we distribute locations throughout the mission map. This will increase the distance variation between targets, and targets will likely not spawn as far apart as before.
  • Added setting to disable auto-climbing and jumping while sprinting in the gameplay section of the options menu.
  • The Spreading Democracy mission, also known as “Raise the flag”, can now be played on higher difficulty levels to spread maximum freedom.
  • While preparing, Hell Divers now salute to ensure maximum democratic readiness.
  • Added ambience to the Tremor planet hazard to underscore its seriousness so that Hell Divers can react appropriately.
  • Shots that bounce off heavily armored enemies will now properly hit the Hell Diver who fired them. Trigger discipline is highly recommended.

  • Fixed a crash that could occur when the host leaves the mission with the team.
  • Fixed a crash that could occur when a player attempted to enter an occupied EXO-45 Patriot Suit.
  • Fixed a crash that could occur for all players after or during the mission results screen.
  • Fixed a crash that could occur after firing from the EXO-45 Patriot Suit’s rocket launcher.
  • Fixed a crash that could occur on all players except the buffed player who rejoins the ongoing mission with different armor.
  • Fixed the Superior Packaging Methodology ship module not working properly.
  • Fixed the Explosion Absorption ship module correctly increasing sentries’ resistance to explosions.
  • Fixed the issue where players could not navigate to search results in the Social Menu.
  • Fixed some issues where items equipped in a Warbond would not actually be equipped.
  • Fixed an exploit that caused overzealous Hell Divers to overuse grenades.
  • Fixed an issue where kills from orbital barrage would not progress the Indirect Fire Exercise sequence.
  • Fixed an issue that allowed traitors to attempt to sabotage the landing shuttle by placing sentry stratagems underneath it.
  • Fixed an issue where ion storms would incorrectly prevent the extraction beacon from deploying.
  • Fixed some stratagem beams using incorrect color coding.
  • Fixed an issue where the left stick on the controller could not be used to navigate the Social menu.
  • Fixed some issues where various UI elements were cut off, not centered, or too close to the edge of the screen on ultrawide displays.
  • Fixed the Anti-Material Rifle facing away from the Inferno Diver after being deployed.
  • Fixed a bug where the player could cancel the reload of the Anti-Material Rifle at a certain time, duplicating bullets.
  • Fixed an issue where the Anti-Materiel Rifle would consume an extra clip after a canceled reload.
  • Fixed a bug that caused the Recoilless Rifle to consume an extra bullet from the backpack if the reload was canceled immediately after a round was loaded but before the reload was completed.
  • Fixed the issue where the Sickle and Quasar Cannon could not fire through foliage.
  • Fixed several issues where weapon thumbnails would disappear when scrolling through the armory.
  • Fixed the issue where Automaton Battleships could sometimes not see the player.
  • Fixed incorrect collision remaining after destroying Automaton bunkers or detector towers with inferno bombs.
  • Fixed the issue where inferno bombs were not unlocked in certain missions.
  • Fixed some issues that caused hell divers to drown in deep water during descent.
  • Fixed an issue where Hellpod Field Optimization could cause ammo to increase beyond capacity.
  • Fixed an issue that caused Stalkers to be very visible in fog.
  • Mines can now be pinged for better coordination with your team.
  • Receiving a friend request now gives the player a pop-up window.
  • Improved readability of prompts and tips displayed in the tutorial and onboarding.
  • Total experience can now be viewed in the career tab.
  • Added better support for ultrawide monitors by fixing the aspect ratio of menus to 16:9 and adding a setting to control the width of the HUD.
  • Numpad-bound keybindings will no longer reset on reboot.
  • Fixed inconsistent audio when connecting headphones to the Dual Sense controller while playing on PC.
  • Playing Rock, Paper, Scissors in front of the ship no longer causes the player to fall into space.
  • The APW-1 Anti-Material Rifle and MG-206 Heavy Machine Gun now trigger hit signatures while scoped.
  • The secondary weapon no longer remains in the Ballistic Shield ADS position after using a stimulator while the Ballistic Shield Backpack is equipped.
  • “Open Text Chat” can now be reconnected.
  • Explosive weapons such as R-36 Eruptor, CB-9 Exploding Crossbow. The GP-31 Grenade Gun no longer pulls players in before exploding.
  • Disabled team invitations that were causing conflict in the UI during the tutorial.
  • Fixed Primary and Secondary weapons overlapping on the character model in the Armory.
  • Fixed UI elements being cut off on a 21:9 aspect ratio monitor during initial launch.
  • Report and ban player can now be seen in the team menu.
  • Dead Scavengers now stop screaming for help if killed while calling for reinforcements.
  • Fixed Anti Air cannons appearing as “Stratagem Scrambler” in hazard alerts.

Known Issues

  • Various issues with friend invites and cross-play
  • Friend Request cannot be accepted if the requesting player changes their username before the request is accepted.
  • Cross-platform friend invites may not appear in the Friend Requests tab.
  • Players cannot unfriend players they have befriended with the friend code.
  • Players cannot unblock players who are not already on their Friends list.
  • Damage over time effects can only apply when inflicted by the host. We expect this to be fixed in the next patch.
  • Boosts may not be available for some players participating in a game in progress.
  • Hell Diver may not be able to rise from his crouch when surrounded by enemies.
  • The game may crash if the host leaves while dead and rejoins the same game session.
  • The game may crash if the player changes the text language while on a mission.
  • Players may experience delays in Medal and Super Credit payments.
  • Enemies that bleed do not progress through Personal Orders and Destroy missions.
  • Some weapons, such as the Anti-Material Rifle, have their scopes slightly misaligned.
  • Arc weapons sometimes behave inconsistently and sometimes misfire.
  • The spear’s targeting is inconsistent, making it difficult to lock onto larger enemies.
  • The Stratagem beam can attach itself to an enemy, but it will deploy to its original location.
  • Explosions won’t break your limbs (except when you fly into a rock).
  • The area around the Automaton Detector Tower causes blue stratagems, such as Inferno Grenades, to ricochet and be knocked back when attempting to land near the tower.
  • Planet salvation reaches 100% at the end of each Defense mission.
