British actress Helen Mirren says that he dreamed of an Oscar statue as a teenager. But he has not been able to imagine the honor he has received, even in his wildest dreams.
– I have never dreamed that I would be made into a Barbie. It’s not something that even crossed my mind, Mirren was delighted to receive an iconic doll made of herself.
The Barbie doll turns 65 on Saturday, and Women’s Day is appropriately celebrated on Friday. So now was a good time to announce Barbie’s new role model.
The Helen doll is unique, meaning only one piece was made. The doll is wearing exactly the same clothes and accessories as Mirren on the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival last year. The blue hair also follows her Cannes look.
To top it all off, the doll is holding the Oscar statuette that Mirren received in 2007 for her role in the movie The Queen.
The Barbie role models have been chosen this time with the theme of Female Storytellers. The actor also gets his own doll Viola Davisa comedian Enissa Amani and singers Kylie Minogue and Shania Twain.
