Heavy loss for Calgary

Leksand extended the winning streak beat AIK

Calgary is chasing a wild-card spot for the playoffs, but remains four points behind Winnipeg in the Western Conference. The team has lost six of the last eight games.

Mikael Backlund was the only one who managed to get a hole in John Gibson in Anaheim, the Swede’s fifteenth goal of the season. It was worse for compatriot Jacob Markström in Calgary’s goal, who conceded two.

The match finally ended 3–1 to the visitors after Derek Grant put the final puck into an open goal with two seconds left.
