Health Innovation Show 2023 boom in attendance for the first

(Finance) – The first edition of theHealth Innovation Show 2023the event promoted by Mesit Foundation – Social Medicine and Technological Innovation, which attracted over 1,500 attendees at the Conference Center of National Railway Museum of Pietrarsain Naples.

The event was proposed as place of comparison, in-depth analysis, study and research to spread the value ofhealthcare innovation in terms of development and security of the country.

About 1,000 students of secondary schools visited the first meta-museum of health innovation – Health Innovation Space – created thanks to the collaboration of PwC Italya hybrid performance in presence and in the metaverse that recounts some of the main ones revolutions in the world of health. Overall, 800 users visited the museum through i VR viewers, for a total of over a thousand kilometers travelled. The exhibition can be visited from any device (smartphone, laptop, tablet, VR viewers) and represents an opportunity to raising awareness of the importance of research and innovation also in the healthcare field. The tour will not end with the event, but will continue to live on digital.

“The train of healthcare innovation leaves from Naples, which has always been a determining factor in guaranteeing safety, well-being and social inclusiveness for the population, as well as enhancing the resources of our country in terms of sustainability”, comments the president of the Mesit Foundation, Marco Trabucco Aurilio, adding that the Foundation “promoted the Health Innovation Show to bring together the main stakeholders, opinion leaders, patient associations, regulatory bodies and the Ministry of Health in various Italian cities, starting from this first edition in Naples , to discuss the most innovative issues in the health universe and to create synergies that make innovative technologies more accessible for everyone”.

Health Innovation Show 2023 was created in collaboration with CEIS-EEHTA (Centre for Economic and International Studies: Economic Evaluation and HTA, University of Rome Tor Vergata), ALTEMS (High School of Economics and Management of Health Systems, Catholic University of Sacred Heart of Rome), the Interdepartmental Research Center “Innovation & Health” (Roma Tre University), CIRFF (Interdepartmental Research Center in Pharmacoeconomics and Pharmacoutilization, Federico II University of Naples); thanks also to the non-conditioning contribution of Sanofi and Gilead.
