He went to the hospital complaining of excessive sweating, chest and back pain, miraculously survived! Doctor: “This is the first time I have encountered such a case”

He went to the hospital complaining of excessive sweating chest

It is known that aortic artery rupture can have serious consequences. Muharrem Deligöz, who works for a company in Kahramanmaraş, applied to Pazarcık State Hospital with complaints of excessive sweating, chest and back pain. Deligöz, who was found to have ruptured his aorta in the examinations performed here, was referred to Kahramanmaraş Sütçü İmam University Health Practice and Research Hospital. Deligöz, who was operated on here, regained his health after his treatment. Cardiovascular Surgery Faculty Member Assoc. Dr. Mehmet Kirişci said that Deligöz had a very high risk of dying from vascular rupture and that he miraculously survived.

’32 YEARS IS A TOO YOUNG AGE FOR A VESSEL RIPPING’

Noting that the rupture of the aortic vessel of a 32-year-old is very rare and that he has encountered such a case for the first time, Assoc. Dr. Kirişci said, “In the examinations, we saw that the main aortic vessel was completely torn from the heart’s exit to the groin, and the blood was clinging around a membrane like a thin onion membrane. Since the risk of open surgery is high, we closed the ruptured vessel with the closed method, entering through the groin and using a specially made stent graft. “Of course, it is very rare for a 32-year-old person to encounter such a situation. Because vascular rupture is a condition in which the vascular structure deteriorates and we encounter it in later ages. The main reason for this patient’s history is due to a history of hypertension. Blood pressure disease; brain “It can occur in different situations such as bleeding, rupture of a vessel, and the formation of serious crisis situations. Considering that the trigger is blood pressure, these patients should definitely pay attention to themselves in a period when the temperature increases so much,” he said.

‘DO NOT GO OUT IN HOT WEATHER UNLESS YOU HAVE TO’

Stating that blood pressure patients should not go out especially in very hot weather, Assoc. Dr. Kirişci noted that otherwise Muharrem Deligöz might experience similar health problems. Reminding that not everyone is lucky and that fatal paintings can be encountered, Assoc. Dr. Kirişci said: “Patients with blood pressure should not go out after unnecessarily between 11:00 and 17:00 in the summer months, especially in July, August and September, should wear light colors when choosing clothes, and if they have a chronic illness, they should definitely check with their doctor, what they eat, drink, especially liquid supplements. “They should definitely take them on time and as much as they need. Complications related to temperature can cause serious and life-threatening situations. That’s why blood pressure patients must take their medications without interruption. If it’s not enough, we recommend that they consult their doctor and re-arrange their medication,” he said.

‘THE THING I EXPERIENCED IS DUE TO NEGLIGENCE’

Muharrem Deligöz, on the other hand, said that he was very happy to regain his health.

Expressing that he went to the hospital immediately when he got sick, Deligöz explained his experiences as follows:

“The doctors said that one of my veins was torn and one of them enlarged due to the rise in blood pressure due to the hot weather. They said that my condition was very serious and unprecedented and needed urgent intervention. They brought me here by ambulance from Pazarcık State Hospital. I am fine now, God willing.” Thank God, I have occasional pains. The doctor states that it takes some time for this to pass and keeps them under observation. I think this is due to negligence. Because as blood pressure patients, we need to be a little more careful in hot weather and use medications properly.” (DHA)
