Kherson is one of the cities where violent conflict took place apart from the capital of Ukraine, Kyiv and Kharkov, during the Russia-Ukraine war. In the past days, news came that Russian forces had entered the city of Kherson in the south of the country.
Today, the Russian Ministry of Defense shared images of a military base near the city of Kherson, which it claims to have captured. In the images in the video, it is seen that there are military vehicles, weapons and ammunition on the base.
Kherson Mayor Igor Kolihayev said in a statement he made recently:
“First day of spring. It is Kherson, Ukraine. The first good news of this morning. I am ready to fulfill my duties. One of our first priorities is the operation of markets and pharmacies. We are fully operational in areas such as garbage collection, cleaning, public transportation in cities.
