Markkanes had a sticky throwing day. He recorded 11 points and four rebounds in the match, and sank his set shots with only 30 percent accuracy. The game was the first this season in which Markkanen did not sink a single three-point shot.
Before this, the last time the Finnish star had missed a successful triple was almost a year ago, on March 3.
Markkanen played 26 minutes in the match, although he has averaged more than 32 minutes per match this season. He was not seen on the field at all after the third period.
The highest score of the match was collected by Utah Collin Sexton and Atlanta Jalen Johnsonwho each scored 22 points.
The match was difficult for Utah from the beginning. The team was already down 0-12 after four minutes of play, and Atlanta stayed there until the end of the match.
Utah fell into 18 turnovers, of which Atlanta inoculated for 28 points.
