Hampus Nessvold on love life: “I want to be a father”

Leksand extended the winning streak beat AIK

The multitalent Hampus Nessvold, 26, is one of the guests in Renée’s dock this week. Despite his young years, he has managed to entertain Sweden with both comedy and music. Many people recognize him as Therese in the cash register in the comedy series Nice weekend.

For Renée Nyberg, he talks openly about his love life. During the pandemic, he became unemployed and didn’t feel he had anything to offer his girlfriend – and therefore broke up.

— I felt that I have nothing to offer now: “I have no job, I have no connection – I am nothing right now.” Why the hell would she want to be with me?” And then I left. Because I was probably afraid she would feel that way, but she didn’t. It is probably the clearest time that the Sabbath has come to me personally. That I have a performance-based self-esteem, he says.

Still in love with her
But he found his way back to love – with the same girl he broke up with.

— We are together again! And it has become the most valuable thing for me. Really! I got rid of it, was able to figure out why I got rid of it, because I felt I was still in love with her and could lead to it being just about me and my issues. Now that we are together again, I can really feel that I miss her and our life. In the past it wasn’t like that and that’s what I hold most dear of all.

Renée: And how do you see the future?
— I want to be a father. I’ve felt this way for the last few years that I really want to be a father… Now I’m moved when I talk about it… It’s the onion, he jokes and continues chopping the onion for the minced meat sauce.
