H65 Höör pressed Sävehof – but technical errors put an end to it

Leksand extended the winning streak beat AIK

The win was tight on Monday night, although Sävehof seemed to have got hold of the game at the start of the second half. After a couple of nice saves by Selma Hasanbegovic, they led 17-14 but Höör would turn around again. Johanna Östblom made it 20-19 for Höör with a beautiful edge shot with ten minutes left and then the Skåne team led for the first time in the second half.

Then the teams were followed until the final minutes when a sending off was costly for Höör. With less than seven minutes left to play, the visitors led 22-21. But three minutes later, Nina Koppang took a finish from eleven meters and made it 24-22 for Sävehof and connected with a tripling Höör.

Before the expulsion was over, Koppang fit in for Johanna Forsberg on the line. She received with one hand and spun around to make it 25-22. Höör took a timeout without being able to turn the game around.

– I am not satisfied with the match. We had over 20 technical errors and they had a sending off that they took advantage of, says Höör’s coach Ola Månsson to C More.

Höör was the better team in the first half but missed several free-kicks and it was 11-11 at the break. It could have been four, five goals up for Höör who led by three a couple of times, with some fluency.

In a couple of weeks, the teams will meet in the final of the Swedish Cup, which is decided in doubles.
