The presentation and installation ceremony of the lucky ones was chaired Monday September 25 by Guinean Prime Minister Bernard Goumou who had at his side some members of his government including Lansana Béa Diallo of Youth and Sports, architect of this structure.

It is in the hemicycle room of the National Assembly that hundreds of young people met for the establishment of this Council after more than twenty years of absence. The fault lies in a lack of political will to let young people speak with one voice.

The brand new elected president specifies the mission of this National Youth Council of Guinea: “ The first axis is to create synergy among youth organizations, in order to increase the creativity of young people, to optimize the potential for action and participation in development, to play the role of interface between youth organizations of on the one hand, public authorities and international institutions acting on issues relating to youth », explains Abdoulaye Diané.

The Guinean Prime Minister who chaired the ceremony invites young people to take their responsibilities: “ The CNJ Guinea will be an essential partner of our government and a major actor in this change. Resume your position as the leader in the march of our nation. Guinea’s problems are first and foremost ours. You must never be absent in developing solutions for today and tomorrow », harangues Bernard Goumou.

The new office of the National Youth Council of Guinea, made up of nine members, is elected for a three-year term, renewable once.
