Mijdrecht – It was a huge shock for the residents of a house on the Agaat in Mijdrecht at the beginning of March last year. The sliding door had been broken open and inside they found a great havoc. Everything had been turned upside down and the safe with precious jewelry and a large amount of money had disappeared. The partly irreplaceable jewels were worth around 22,000 euros. The burglars also made off with 4,000 euros in cash, bedding, passports and a video camera. Yoghurt and cola had also been tampered with in the house.
