From a superficial perspective, the Pixel 8a looks slightly smaller and thinner than the previous A series phone. However, it appears to have more curved edges compared to the boxier design of the Pixel 7a. Based on its release, it seems likely that this phone will come in dimensions of 152.1 x 72.6 x 8.9 mm. At this point the Pixel 7a dimensions were 152.4 x 72.9 x 9.0 mm. The only thing that hasn’t changed from the device is the camera bar, which has a pill-shaped notch for the two camera lenses. In addition to the rear cameras, there is a perforated front camera at the top middle of the screen.
