The win went to the Belgian Toon Aerts who led from the start. Behind him, his young compatriot Niels Vandeputte finished second. Van der Haar seemed to finish just next to the podium, but at the finish he managed to sprint just past Tom Meeusen. A photo finish then indicated that third place was for Van der Haar.
