Good news for users WhatsApps new feature has surfaced

New features are added to WhatsApp periodically. Thanks to these features, it is aimed that WhatsApp users have a better application experience. However, WhatsApp does not only serve mobile applications, namely WhatsApp iOS or WhatsApp Android applications. At the same time, WhatsApp Web, the web version of WhatsApp, is also used by many users. The new feature that we have already mentioned is a feature that closely concerns WhatsApp Web users.

HERE IS THE NEW FEATURE APPEARING FOR WHATSAPP WEB!

It has been seen that the “screen lock” feature has begun to be tested in the beta version of WhatsApp Web.

According to WABetaInfo, WhatsApp is rolling out this feature to some beta testers using the latest version of WhatsApp Web and participating in the official beta program.

In the screenshot shared on the subject, it is seen that WhatsApp Web is locked thanks to the screen lock feature and it asks for a password to view the list of conversations.

According to the source, to find out if this feature is enabled for your WhatsApp account, you need to go to WhatsApp Web > Settings > Privacy, if the feature is available for your account, you will see the screen lock here. When you enable the screen lock, you will need to enter a password to unlock WhatsApp Web. If you forget the password, you will have to log out of WhatsApp Web and log in again by scanning the QR code.

In addition, it is said that push notifications will not appear when the screen is locked.
