According to rumors, Sony Santa Monica is working on a new God of War. Now a statement from Cory Barlog is making fans curious.
Will there be a new God of War? There is no official information yet as to whether there will be a new God of War. What is certain, however, is that the authors of God of War: Ragnarok have been working on other projects for several years.
In fact, lead author Orion Walker hinted in a post on X back in December 2023 that there would be more Kratos stories after Valhalla. “You really think the end credits are the end of the story? Now come on,” Walker said in his post.

In addition to this suggestion, there could be further evidence that the current project is a new God of War. Previous job offers explicitly looked for people with knowledge of the franchise and its struggles.
