German Dominika got bionic arm: “It’s overwhelming”

The arm, called “Hero Arm”, comes from the company Open Bionics. The latest version of the invention has been around since 2020, but was introduced to the German market this year.

Thanks to the invention, the cost of which is covered by the German health insurance fund, Dominika Frycz can move her left arm for the first time.

– I am excited to see what will happen in everyday life now. Where can I use it. Now I can see that it can move well, but I’m excited to see what else it can help me with, she tells Reuters.

Watch Dominika try out the arm in the clip above.
