Bilthoven – The gas leak that led to the explosion that collapsed part of an apartment building in Bilthoven was caused by a mechanic who accidentally sawed into a pipe. The AD reports this on the basis of a study by the Utrecht Security Region (VRU). The gas leak led to two explosions last year, first a light one and then a heavier one.
