There is a fire in a villa in Långbro in southern Stockholm.
– It is a villa that is on fire, it is completely damaged and it will burn down, says the commanding officer at the rescue center Mitt.
The emergency services were alerted to the fire at 21:32. There is no information that anyone should have been in the house. The rescue service states that the villa will not be salvageable.
– We expect that we will remain there until midnight, says the commanding officer at the rescue center Mitt.
The police also participate in the operation.
– We assist the emergency services. There is no criminal suspicion at the moment, we’ll see where they land, says Nadya Norton, police spokesperson.
There is no information that anyone was injured in connection with the fire.
– The emergency services should not have found anyone, it is unclear if there was anyone in the house, says Nadya Norton.
