The information about Frida Karlsson’s love life completely shocks the Swedish skiing star.
On the official website of the International Ski Federation, Fis, the most unexpected thing is revealed.
– Huh!? I haven’t seen that, says a stunned 23-year-old to SportExpressen.
With seven Olympic and WC medals is Frida Karlsson one of the biggest names in Swedish skiing right now. But lately the headlines have mostly been about the Swede’s exit from the national skiing team and the decision to train on his own before the new season.

Alongside the 23-year-old’s efforts on the ski track, her private life has also been heavily debated since her breakthrough on the world stage. For a few years now, she has been together with the Swedish cross-country skier William Poromaa but this spring, speculation took off when the skiing couple decided to sell their terraced house in Sollefteå and move apart.

All skiers have a personal profile on fis-ski.com and under William Poromaa it clearly reads “in a relationship” (in English) while Frida Karlsson’s profile describes her as single.
– Huh!? Where does it say? I haven’t seen that! It was fun, says a shocked Frida to SportExpressen as she had no idea about this strange thing.

The 23-year-old then reveals the truth and admits that it is not at all about a breakup for the couple.
– Well, it’s still stable. Everything is calm, she tells the evening newspaper and admits that she should probably contact Fis and change it.
– Yes, I’ll probably update that so it’s right.
