Folklistan takes place in Åtvidaberg – the whole KD goes wild

Jan Emmanuel and Sara Skyttedal’s new party Folklistan enters the Åtvidaberg municipal council. This since the entire party group of the Christian Democrats is changing parties.

– It feels exciting, and it’s great to have a new way of thinking. It will be positive in the political space, says group leader Joel Edoff to TV4 Nyheterna.

The Christian Democrats in Åtvidaberg’s municipal council are changing parties.

Formally, they become political savages, but the party’s group leader confirms to TV4 Nyheterna that they have switched to Folklistan.

– That’s right, says Joel Edoff.

KD has two mandates in the council, Joel Edoff and Fredrik Hanström, with two substitutes. None of them will leave their positions in either the municipal board, boards or committees.

This means that the newly started party Folklistan takes the back road to its first decision-making seats.

– It’s great fun for us to take over an entire party group and to enter a municipality, says EU parliamentarian and former KD politician Sara Skyttedal to Corren.

Skyttedal does not rule out that the party can enter other municipalities.

– We’ll see. There are ongoing discussions and the Folklistan is spread throughout the country, says Skyttedal.
